On the latest edition of “The Parting Schotts Podcast,” Daily Gazette of Schenectady (N.Y.) sports editor Ken Schott is joined by Gazette horse racing writer Mike MacAdam for Week 5 of “At The Track with Mac.” They review Week 4 at Saratoga Race Course meet and the tragic end to last Saturday’s Test on Whitney Day, in which Maple Leaf Mel broke down and had to be euthanized. Schott and MacAdam then preview Week 5.

Schott talks with Union College athletic director Jim McLaughlin about the school’s decision to change its nickname from Dutchmen/Dutchwomen to Garnet Chargers.
