Show Notes

On the latest edition of “The Parting Schotts Podcast,” host and Daily Gazette Associate Sports Editor Ken Schott talks with former ABC10 (WTEN) sports director and 1994 Voorheesville High School graduate Jamie Seh, who will be calling the play-by-play of Saturday’s Cure Bowl between Georgia Southern and Liberty, and she will make history being part of the first all-female broadcast team to call a Football Bowl Subdivision bowl game on national radio.

Ken then talks to Kristie Ackert, the New York Yankees’ beat writer for the New York Daily News, about the team’s signing of free-agent pitcher Gerrit Cole.

The Athletic’s Lisa Dillman then joins the show to talk some National Hockey League.
