Show Notes

On the latest edition of “The Parting Schotts Podcast,” Daily Gazette of Schenectady (N.Y.) sports editor Ken Schott opens the show with a tribute to legendary singer Tina Turner, who died last Wednesday at the age of 83.

Schott previews the NBA Finals between the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat with Capital Region natives Tim Reynolds, who covers the NBA for The Associated Press, and Marc Kestecher, the voice of the NBA on ESPN Radio. Reynolds, who is based in Miami, will also talk about the Florida Panthers’ run to the NHL Stanley Cup Final.

Schott then gives his opinion on the state of the Albany Empire arena football team.
