On the latest edition of “The Parting Schotts Podcast,” sports editor Ken Schott looks back at the 10-year anniversary of the Capital District Mayor’s Cup men’s hockey game between RPI and Union, which featured an exchange between Union head coach Rick Bennett and RPI head coach Seth Appert.
Schott offers his thoughts on that game in his audio essay. He talks with Bennett and Appert, as well as Union players Mat Bodie and Daniel Ciampini and assistant coach Joe Dumais, RPI players Brock Higgs and Luke Curadi and volunteer assistant coach Kirk MacDonald, referee Chip McDonald and MVP Arena general manager Bob Belber.
